Displaced Aggression #1 Review

Today IDW’s latest Ghostbusters mini-series, “Displaced Aggression” hit the comic shop shelves and it’s awesome! The plot, while I won’t give away all the details is great. I think so far this could be the best of all the previous comic series. The artwork and colors are rich, detailed, and is exactly what you would expect from comic veterins like IDW.

Here’s the official description which gives you a general idea of what’s in store for the readers.

“GO WEST, YOUNG VECKMAN!” In chapter one of this all-new Ghostbusters adventure, the ‘Busters have been defeated by the pan-dimensional demon lord Kozar’Rai-Father of Gozer, the villain has separated them across the time stream! Dr. Peter Venkman is trapped in 1886, and his only chance to return to present-day Earth and free all of humanity from the Rule of Kozar’Rai has him teaming with a very unexpected (and very beautiful) ally! ”

The comic is available in 3 cover variants,  while the contents of each are identical, it’s great for collectors and fans a like to have a few options.

I picked my copy up at Midtown Comics in New York City today where they had all 3 variant covers in stock.

So far I have only one complaint about the comic… and that is I have to wait an entire month to see what happens next !
